The Lone Sheiling - Heritage Site
The Lone Sheiling Trail in the Grand Anse Valley brings you through an old-growth forest of 350-year-old sugar maples. The interpretive signs along the trail tell the natural history of the area. The Lone Sheiling is a reproduction of a Scottish crofter's hut, built in the 1950s. Walk the trail and discover why it was built.
