Join the Top of the Island celebrations with music, festivals and events...
At the Top of the Island, Cabot Trail, Cape Breton Island, we have much to celebrate! Being the northernmost point in Nova Scotia and one of the first points of landing for the early settlers, we take our culture and our heritage to heart.
Come discover the beauty of our land as we kick up our heels during the Celtic Colours International Music festival. Dance and ceilidh to our Celtic music as we feast on fresh seafood. Visit us for the Octagon at the Markland Resort for Friday night square dancing and ceilidhs throughout the summer and fall or, come to the Down North Family Funday for a weekend of concerts and celebrations.
