Cape Breton Highlands National Park of Canada protects 950 sq. km of magnificent highlands and coastal wilderness. The Park is dominated by an elevated, flat-topped plateau deeply cut by river canyons. 

There are approximately 25 trails ranging from easy 20 minute strolls to challenging climbs offering panoramic views of canyons, the highlands, and seacoasts.

Cycling, hiking, fishing, golfing, kayaking, canoeing, skiing and swimming are all activities that the parks boasts.  Also available are number of beaches, picnic areas and campgrounds.

Interpretive Centre is located on the Cheticamp side.  Please call to find out hours of operation.
