The Lone Sheiling - Heritage Site Print Version

The Lone Sheiling Trail in the Grand Anse Valley brings you through an old growth forest of 350 year old sugar maples. The interpretive signs along the trail tell the natural history of the area. The Lone Sheiling  is a reproduction of a Scottish crofter's hut. This was built in the 1950s, walk the trail and discover why it was built.
