Music, Festivals, and Events in St Ann's Bay
Whatever the time of year, wherever you are visiting from, in St Ann's Bay you will be warmly welcomed. Join us as we celebrate our culture in both traditional and contemporary ways. Enjoy our glorious outdoors along with us. Sample the beauty, the food, the music, the people!
Throughout the year, there is always something worth the sharing in St Ann's Bay. In spring, the Englishtown Mussel Fest and the St Ann's Bay Blueberry Festival start the high season on a high note.
If music is your thing, well, it's our thing, too! Traditional music ceilidhs are held Tuesdays and Fridays throughout the summer at the Celtic Tea Room. The Gaelic College hosts Wednesday evening Instructors' Ceildhs, lunchtime ceildhs, and KitchenFest during the summer high season, and the College is also the venue for our annual Festival of Cape Breton Fiddling. You can also take in classical and popular music concerts throughout the year at the Colouratura Fine Art Gallery.
In fall, we host the up-close-and-personal Cabot Trail Writers Festival, along with dozens of performances presented by the Celtic Colours International Festival (including the all-night Festival Club at the Gaelic College). In winter, join us as we participate in the Victoria County Winter ActiveFest, scheduled mid-February through March.
