The Cabot Trail Relay Race, Celtic Colours International Music Festival, Lobsterpalooza, Baddeck Ceilidhs, Telegraph Ceilidhs, Aviation Day and much more! The fun never stops in Baddeck and area, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia as we celebrate our culture, heritage and beautiful location on the Cabot Trail.
Come out to the Cabot Trail Relay Race as you take part in the 17-stage race or cheer on the athletes. Fall in love with Baddeck and area during the Celtic Colours International Music Festival as you kick up your heels to the traditional music and take in the sights of the rolling mountains that disappear into the Bay.Indulge in the fresh seafood during our Lobsterpalooza festival as we feast, laugh and drink to the tune of summer. This 185-mile long celebration takes place along the Cabot Trail from late May to the end of June.
Celtic music and dance will get you moving at our ceilidhs as we let loose and party Cape Breton style. You can also visit Telegraph House and Motel for a traditional ceilidh Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. An afternoon filled with festivities and celebration is waiting at Aviation Day when we commemorate Alexander Graham Bell’s aviation first – the Silver Dart airplane. |
